TANDEMLOC - Securing Products - Tiedown, Flush Mounted

The S33000H Tiedown is a much larger version of the S33000A cargo tiedown offering a significant increase in load capacity. It meets the requirements for the large cargo tiedown provision of Mil Std 209(k). The fully weldable steel housing contains the forged tiedown ring assembly that can swivel 180 degrees while also swinging up to 150 degrees on the horizontal axis, so that it can assume the angle of “pull”, without a reduction in strength. The ring is an anchoring point for lashing hooks, shackles or a 3” wide band type securing strap when passed through the “straight bar” part of the ring. We stock self colored bulk backed kits, however, a variety of corrosion resistant finishes are available, including galvanizing followed by a black dacrokote finish to reduce reflectivity of the galvanizing (This finish was selected for the medium tactical vehicle replenishment program). The tiedown can be shipped as an assembly if preferred.

For ease of installation, components are shipped unassembled. (S33000H-100 is shipped assembled.)

This tiedown rotates 360° about its vertical axis and a min of 150° about its horizontal axis. It is designed to swivel & swing to the tension load plane of the tiedown within those angles.

ASSEMBLY: After installing the housing (PC1), assemble PC's 2 to 5 into the configuration shown above. (NOTE: To insert PC 4 pins, rotate PC 2 for proper clearance).
